About
I believe in treating others with kindness and compassion. I work to collaborate, support and guide you within your current experiences by utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques to meet you where you are in the moment. I enjoy incorporating humor into sessions and believe in the power of nurturing relationships.
I enjoy working with teens (14+) through older adults who are going through life transitions, struggling with body image & self-esteem, managing stress, worrying about the future or feeling stuck in the past, feeling worried or down, having trouble with resentment or irritability, and/or having difficulty in relationships. I like to use a variety of interventions in my work because I don't believe "one size fits all." I work through a "health at every size" lens.
Background and Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working with adults and families in affordable housing, healthcare, low income, disabled and displaced adults. I also have significant experience working with adults with dementia and assisting the geriatric population and their caregivers through the aging process. I have been practicing as an outpatient mental health therapist full time since 2021.
